when that july preview of that flash comes up, it'll be renamed "When angels deserve to die". reason being is a phrase used in the movie/game and the theme song uses it as the last line of the chorus.

im sorry... due to a ton of reasons and having a a lot of sprites and images to handle, i have to push back the preview. dont worry, it WILL show up this month, i dont know when though. i might just end up being like krinkels and upload at the last moment. hey, you never know right?

this is me typing while hoping your using a background that makes this text invisible
dont blame me that Metal Gear Solid is so awesome. i also have to work because if i buy my friend MGS4, he'll get me 1, 2, and 3. sounds like a good deal on my part.

back on topic, only the opening scene of my scenario will show in the preview, but i will show what everyone's characters will look like (at the time, black, you werent showing up so i . the design of it is a lot harder than it will look. most of it is trying new methods, actionscripting, and sprites. the spriting is just being done ahead of time, so i can really crack down on the actual animating. if everything goes right, it'll show up on deviant art at the end of the week. after the previews up, im moving on to something different for a little while.

By now i'm sure everyone's dismissed this as a false alarm by me again, and i expected that by now. I have finished the openign cutscene but it's way too short, and i dont think it shows off as much as i want it to. i've also been working with my privately contracted scripter to see what we can come up with for a combat system.

overall, the biggest problem is sprites. i annouced the game way too soon, when i had barely any animations done. i may even have to start the whole thing over, seeing as how i had added more when i finished certain bits. since it isn't going to ever appear, i'll discuss what the original fighting system was going to be. a movie clip would play unfolding the fight scene between you and the enemy. during random points of the fight, a button prompt would appear. if you push the button, you deal damage and the fight continues. if you dont push the indicated button in time, you get knocked back, taking damage yourself, and the battle restarts to the last point that you dealt damage at. the problem was generating a script for the random number button. i'm now thinking about resorting to the generic RPG style of combat until we can work something out. so what are you guys thinking? you ok with me resorting to the basic stuff for now? and while i'm at it, does anyone want to contribute any special attacks they want for their human forms. everyone has one by the way. and if theres any songs you want added to the game, tell me because i dont have nearly enough tracks for the whole game. i'm looking mostly to scotty and kris for the second part (you guys can stick to your own genre if you want), but if mr. black & white and scott's lil bro want a theme for their guy, that's good too. just put a post in here with a link to the song.

By "special attack" do you mean a Final Smash sort of thing?
If so then i'd like for my human form to summon red lightning, it looks cooler than blue lightning, but tastes worse than white lightning.

i do agree with your red lightning idea. i've tasted white lightning and i simply said "this is delicious! YES! Yes!" M. Bison style.

i do mean something like a final smash. don't suggest anything TOO flashy, and in fact if you already have the nessesary resources for it, it would be great if you could send me them. you can suggest any skills you want, but keep over the top moves to a minimum. if you also have the SFX for your moves, send those too.
