How do you like the new desktop? I got tired of the Vista theme, download like 3 different programs, and made my PC look like a (customized) mac.

Why don't you just buy a MAC? It'll cost more but who cares?

Well, for a couple of reasons. One, the obvious, cash doesn't grow on trees, and two, I already have a good PC running vista, and almost every feature macs have can be replicated on Windows, and I only really like its sleek sexiness. :3

Nah, the only real disappointment with Vista that I've had was that it wouldn't run KotOR II at all. Everything else has been working like a charm.

vista is terrible for me, since it made my trash can disappear as well as "blue screens of death". you should know what i mean black, wasnt it your e-mail at one point? also if i try to run programs at a certain time, it either wont open them or crash. my cousin has got an xp disk that i can "upgrade" to. upgrade maning that xp is better than vista, so its not really down, but up, up, UP!

Hehe, I've had the BSOD email address since I used my older computer that uses windows 2000. It was for a web project thing that I wanted to do, but never did it. :3 I've never had the BSOD on Vista.
Anyway, Vista has been pretty much holy for me. Maybe I just got extremely lucky.

yeah must be, i did end up fixing it eventually while i was wandering around the computer. i think the biggest problem was that im using vista on a laptop.
still decent enough to use though, gets done what has to get done.

Vista is truly shite for me aswell, programnes crash, things don't load, the internet ocasianally breaks, birds fall out of the sky in digust etc

Hm... now I'm trying the Linux OS Ubuntu off a live CD. If you don't know what that means, I'm basically booting from my CD /DVD drive, and using my RAM as a hard drive. Luckily, my ram is big enough to run this to it's full capabilities. Too bad it doesn't save my settings and installed programs permanently.
I would probably install this OS next to Vista if installing actual programs wasn't so tedious.
